Hey everyone! If you're confused as to why you've received this, it's probably because I only tend to send emails when I submit updates for my Blender add-ons. Today, I've written a small blog instead:

I've been asked quite a few times to provide alternative means of being supported, and I've finally made one in the form of a Ko-fi page. I was recently let go from my job in November, and I've been diligently looking for work since. If you have ever wanted to support my FOSS tool development causes, this is probably your new best opportunity. I'm obviously looking for a job in game dev or film again if anyone knows of any Technical Artist needs.

On the Ko-fi page, you can either make a one-time or a monthly contribution. Any amount is appreciated, $2 will be the minimum amount to view exclusive posts forever. You do not currently get anything for recurring donations, but this may change in the future. Contributing any amount will also give you a role in my add-on support Discord Server (where I used to write development blogs/updates).

I'm going to brainstorm ways to add interesting content to make it feel more worthwhile to contribute outside purely supporting my development. I'll be posting major tool updates, development blogs, or other cool game dev things ongoing on the Ko-fi, although I have no concept of what post regularity will look like. I want to avoid restricting access to the things I develop, which reduces some of my options.

My ultimate hope is this initiative will incentivize me to schedule dedicated add-on development time more often, while also having some amount of financial backup to make the time spent logically sound.
